Information Regarding Membership in the USA
The Masonic Order of Pilgrim Preceptors is an Invitational Masonic Order. However, if you are qualified for membership by being a Past Master and Past First Principal (Past High Priest) and are interested in membership, then please email opp.reggov.usa@gmail.com with your interest.
Your expression of interest will be forwarded to the appropriate Conclave for consideratoin but is not a guaruntee of future invitation to membership.
History
While the ritual of the Order has its origins in the 1870’s, the Masonic Order of Pilgrim Preceptors dates its formal organization to 1984. The Order is based on the story of how Freemasonry came from Jerusalem to England. Candidates are admitted to the degree of Pilgrim, which describes the journey of Freemasonry from Jerusalem to Rome. The second degree is that of Preceptor, and explains the journey from Rome to England.

Membership Requirements
The Masonic Order of Pilgrim Preceptors is an invitational Masonic Organization requiring that all candidates proposed for membership are required to be a current member of a Craft Lodge in a Craft Jurisdiction recognized by the United Grand Lodge of England and a current member of a Royal Arch Chapter in a Royal Arch Jurisdiction recognized by the Supreme Grand Holy Royal Arch Chapter of England; and further, that all candidates proposed for membership are required to be a Past Worshipful Master of a Craft Lodge and a Past First Principal, or Past High Priest, of a Royal Arch Chapter.
Recognition
While the United Grand Lodge of England and the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of England do not formally recognize any Masonic organization beyond the Craft including the Holy Royal Arch, all members of the Masonic Order of Pilgrim Preceptors are required to be currently subscribing members of a regular Craft Lodge in a Craft Jurisdiction recognized by the United Grand Lodge of England and currently subscribing members of a regular Royal Arch Chapter in a Royal Arch Jurisdiction recognized by the Supreme Grand Holy Royal Arch Chapter of England. The United Grand Lodge of England, the Supreme Grand Holy Royal Arch Chapter of England, and the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of England acknowledge the existence of the Masonic Order of Pilgrim Preceptors and have expressed no objection to their members participating in this organization. In the United States of America, formal recognition has been extended to the Masonic Order of Pilgrim Preceptors by the Grand Lodges and the Grand Royal Arch Chapters of the following Jurisdictions: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Tennessee, Iowa, and New Jersey.
